good enough for the lumberjack
Marc Jacobs stole the grunge look from Seattle in the 90's and brought it into the fashion mainsteam. I am happy to see that plaid and flannel tees are back, and this time no underground music scene was harmed in the process.

Lollapalooza
Bands like Sonic Youth, Gnarls Barkley, The Subways, Feist, and The Raconteurs looked their best at the Lollapalooza Music Festival.

UNHOLY MATRIMONY
L.A. artist-designer Brett Westfall makes these totally original hand-dyed and hand-painted pieces. I found some on sale at Creatures of Comfort.

what i want now
Anna Molinari patent-leather heels paired with matching latex tights. I am pretty sure that nobody in real life would wear latex tights, but hey they look good in photos. I would pair these heels with matching red or black tights for fall.

fantasy wardrobe
Maybe it is the hidden diva in me or just my love for all things Sofia Coppola, but I have been looking forward to Marie Antoinette ever since I heard the very first buzz about it. The wardrobe itself makes me wish I was living in 1770, with hot pink corsets and New Order playing in the background of coarse.
